he Department
of Accounting and General Services (DAGS) has a 400,000+ sheet plan room
occupying valuable space in its office building. As typical with AEC
documents, these plans were time consuming to obtain and at times difficult
to locate. We are implementing an Internet based A&E plan delivery system
that provides authorized individuals access to these plans. As part of this effort,
we are assisting DAGS with the development of related policies and procedures that
will make optimal use of this techonological resource and will increase
the State's return on investment for this project.
