Parks, Recreation and Landscaping

L andscaping requires special knowledge of plant growth, habits and habitats. Landscape architects in Hawai`i have to be tropical and subtropical plant specialists and must weave very different plant materials into a tapestry that will complement a building or recreational facility. Among the potential plant materials are native plants, some of which are unique to the Hawaiian Islands. Many of these plants are currently being included in landscape designs. Members of The AES Design Group have experience with many of these natives.
